There will be a new champion of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League as the defending Turnbull Cup champs, the Winkler Flyers, were ousted in a series sweep by the Northern Manitoba Blizzard, losing game four 2-1 in overtime. It was a struggle to find offense throughout the series for Winkler and that continued into the first period of game four. The Blizzard came out strong and both teams went back and forth, but neither could find the back of the net.
