Short Fiction The sun streamed in through the open curtains as Dr. Marx woke up in a plush bed in what looked to be a hotel room. He couldn't remember landing and getting off the plane, never mind how he got to the hotel. He rolled over and saw a pad of paper sitting on the bedside table. At the top, the words The St. Regis New York were printed. Well, this was the hotel he normally stayed in when he visited New York, so that was a plus.
