Notre Dame is coming off arguably its biggest recruiting weekend of the offseason, and Devin Fitzgerald was not disappointed. The Class of 2026 receiver from Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), who is the son of NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald, returned to South Bend for an official visit and was able to congregate with other recruits, current players and coaches.

It's been a tough offseason for Notre Dame's baseball program after missing the NCAA Tournament, but the Fighting Irish received some good news Saturday. Minnesota graduate transfer Drew Berkland has committed to Notre Dame. The 6-foot, 190-pounder played outfield and also caught during his three-year career with the Golden Gophers. AdvertisementThis past season, Berkland batted .293 with 10 doubles, 14 home runs, a team-high 53 RBI and a slugging percentage of .546 in 52 games.

Notre Dame athletic director Pete Bevacqua and SEC commissioner Greg Sankey are reportedly meeting with President Donald Trump Sunday to discuss the future of college athletics. According to Ross Dellenger of Yahoo! Sports, Bevacqua and Sankey are traveling to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster to have a round with the 47th President, who is interested in discussing the college sports industry's future while on the course.

Notre Dame has a new addition to its bullpen. Stanford reliever Ty Uber has committed to play for the Fighting Irish. The right-handed graduate transfer announced the move Saturday. In 104.2 career innings, Uber is 6-3 with a 6.02 ERA. He has 98 strikeouts in 55 appearances.
