Though albums are still an enormous part of the culture (and always will be), some bands are moving into a more consistent and lengthy release process, stringing together regular singles and EP’s to better take advantage of the algorithmic social media age. The Plot In You are one of those bands, back again with another instalment of their episodic releases in the form of ‘Vol. 3’.     Brighton newcomers Every Hell are an absolute bottle rocket of a band. Comprised of ex-members of Broker, Memory Of Elephants and the much loved, sorely missed Black Peaks, the quartet bring all of the character from their previous projects and splice it with a rich, explosive, adrenaline-fuelled rush. Their debut EP ‘Vertebrate’ is the perfect introduction into their world and there’s a very high chance that you’ll want to stay there for a very, very long time.

    Here are some of the top performances from high school volleyball across Connecticut for Week 4:Sarah Bernann, Greenwich: The senior setter racked up 34 assists, 14 digs, five kills and one block to help the Cardinals defeat Trumbull 3-1 on Monday. She also had 35 assists, six digs, two aces and two kills in a shutout of Staples on Saturday. Defne Ceken, Westhill: The senior led the Vikings to a four-set win over Norwalk with 17 kills, eight digs and three aces.

    As far as first festival line up announcements go, Bloodstock Open Air Festival have smashed it out of the park with their opening blast of bands for 2025. In their opening 19 band salvo, Bloodstock have revealed all three main stage headliners for next years festival and a viking boat load of other good stuff too.
