But creating an industrial strategy in the first place – to coordinate a wide range of economic policies – is commendable.

For example, us Gen-X'ers were originally referred to as 'Slackers'. I never understood this. Research suggests Gen Z are lazy and self obsessed. We're told they don't volunteer for community service or charity work. Is this because they don't want to contribute?
