    RESIDENTS have come together in Stifford Clays to support the community, and local Sea Scouts by restoring and upgrading a remembrance Garden in Blackthorne Park. It will be used for the first time at a service or Reemembrance on Sunday (10 November), featuring local Sea Scouts. A spokesperson for the group said: "We have self-funded the entire project, to redesign and rebuilt a small area in Blackthorne Park.

    THURROCK may not be the first name that springs to mind when you think Caribbean, but the Essex Freemasons of Henry de Gray Lodge who meet at the Cross Keys Masonic Centre in Chadwell St Mary, changed all that with a Caribbean Beach themed party that will live long in the memory.
