Back to politics this weekend. Starting with:1. Please don't use the TACO slur. It may amuse you and irk your enemy, sure. But this particular mockery has one huge drawback. Nathan Gardels – editor of Noema magazine – offers in the latest issue a glimpse of the latest philosopher with a theory of history, or historiography. One that I'll briefly critique soon, as it relates much to today's topic. But first... In a previous issue, Gardels offered valuable and wise insights about America’s rising cultural divide, leading to what seems to be a rancorous illiberal democracy.

What a long-winded but sweet & hopeful 'weather report' from the Mothers Brothers in the 60s that applies so well today. Watch to the end. https://t.co/FeHQ4Ot09g

To be clear, not a single "Supply Side" tax grift for the uber-rich ever, ever, ever came through with a single predicted beneficial outcome. Have your atty contact me with wager stakes. In science that refutes. But not in a cult.

One of several GREAT songs by the Naughtie Sweeties, when we thought they'd do as well as Oingo Boingo https://t.co/7miRKfzm0z
