VIDEOIt’s hard to believe, but it’s been over a decade since the first residents moved into Ka Malanai at Kailua, the only significant new construction condo project on Oahu’s Windward side in recent memory. Built in 2014 by D.R. Horton, Ka Malanai brought fresh, modern condos to an area previously dominated by older townhome communities — and now, ten years later, the numbers are in... Read More

VIDEOAcross the U.S., more home sales are collapsing before they close — and Hawaii isn’t immune. According to Redfin, nearly 1 in 7 real estate contracts were canceled in recent months, making it the second-highest fallout rate ever recorded. I do not enjoy older cartoons. This stance was only recently reaffirmed when I took a two-month gig writing a long-ass script for a cartoon channel. I won’t say who they are, but let’s just say although I never cared much for Hanna-Barbera cartoons in the first place, I straight up despise them now (except for Jabberjaw; he’s cool). I’m a massive TMNT fan (especially the IDW comics), but can’t stand rewatching the 1987 series.
