It’s been another warm and humid day with highs into the middle 80s. The humidity hangs on tonight, keeping temperatures warmer. Look for lows to stay in the mid 60s as clouds increase. Our next weathermaker is an impulse of low pressure that will track into the area from the southwest on Wednesday. We’re expecting a widespread area of rain and embedded thunderstorms. The rain will be heaviest south of the Fox Valley where some may receive 1″ or more of rainfall.

We’re expecting a more widespread round of frost tonight and into Friday morning. This time, frost is more likely to form farther south and east. This includes the Fox Valley and towards the lakeshore. Anyone who’s already done some spring planting may want to take precautions. After that chilly morning, warmer weather should return to the area. High pressure nosing in from the north will give us a sunny Friday across northeast Wisconsin.

She also spent three years teaching in Lander County at the secondary level and four years homeschooling, but the majority of her educational career has been devoted to teaching kindergarteners.
