In today’s Mario Kart World Direct presentation, Nintendo unveiled footage detailing new information on the upcoming game – which is set to be the biggest Mario Kart game in series history – launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 system on June 5.

Growing up, arcades had basically already died out around me, so seeing a machine in the wild was very rare. As such, I don’t have too much experience with traditional arcade controllers: a stick on the left and big buttons on the right. As I’ve gotten more into fighting games over the years, however, I’ve been considering getting a Fight Stick; a controller that replicates arcade cabinets.

Capcom has made quite the comeback in recent years thanks in no small part to their huge legacy lineup being released on modern platforms. Ace Attorney, Mega Man, one-off arcade games, and even Marvel VS Capcom have all made returns thanks to the huge variety of collections released throughout the years. One strange omission in that time was any of Capcom’s 3D fighting fare or the SNK crossovers. Enter Capcom Fighting Collection 2, a strong but small smattering of skirmishes.

Today, Bungie showed off a first look at gameplay in the Marathon reboot. Today, Bungie, the creators of Halo and Destiny, revealed gameplay of their upcoming team-based extraction shooter Marathon. As part of the live Marathon Gameplay Reveal Showcase, Bungie developers premiered Alpha gameplay of the tactical and fast-paced FPS, explored the mysterious and cutthroat world of Tau Ceti IV, and discussed how to join the Marathon Closed Alpha Test.
