Song et al1 report similar (specifically, noninferior) outcomes at 2 years in a randomized clinical trial comparing phacoemulsification cataract extraction with goniosynechialysis and goniotomy (PGG) with phacoemulsification and trabeculectomy (PT) in patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG) and elevated intraocular pressure (IOP).

We have an early deadline this week, so some things have certainly happened between when I wrote this and when you are reading it. I will use this opportunity though to share some Finals and Final thoughts without allowing future game results to impact my judgement. But of all the things they linked to, the one that tickles me still to this day is an absolutely ridiculous thing I posted back in 2010. Here’s how the link appeared on their site:Yes, that’s right.

Given how disappointing the UNC men’s basketball season has been, did NC State’s head coach just lose his job?
