Lawyer-lobbyists continue to grow their earnings, which were up 3% in 2023, led by Gibbons, McCarter & English and Optimus Partners, while overall lobbying expenditures rose slightly for the third straight year. Overall lobbying expenditures were up just 1.1% to $96.1 million from $95.1 million last year, according to the annual report issued by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission.
