ATHENS — Duncan Thetga finished what he started. It wasn’t, however, in the way he or the rest of the Athens baseball team imagined when he took the mound in Wednesday’s top of the seventh inning in search of a complete-game victory. kAm%92E :??:?8[ :? WAVERLY — Ronin Ault did just about all he could do on the mound to give the Wolverines a chance to earn a big STAC Central win over first-place Owego on Monday. The Waverly junior pitched a complete game allowing just one earned run and one hit, while striking out nine and walking four River Hawks. kAmpF=E 82G6 FA E9C66 76H6C 9:ED E92? 9:D 4@F?E6CA2CE r@?=2? %2J=@C[ H9@ :D D:8?65 E@ }rpp s:G:D:@? x’D q:?892>E@? q62C42ED 27E6C 8C25F2E:@?[ 5:5 @? ATHENS — Standing in the third base coach’s box in Thursday’s bottom of the fourth inning as Jules Pack ripped a line-drive double into the right-center gap, Athens head softball coach Brian Wendela showed his frustration in knowing what could’ve been. In the at-bat prior, a base-running mistake resulted in a lineout turning into a double play and erasing a potential run or, at the very least, a chance for two runners on the base paths with just one out.

TIOGA CENTER — Courtesy of RaeAnne Feeko, the Tioga Central softball team wasted very little time in grabbing a lead in Wednesday’s home game against Moravia. Following a Jade Keaty infield single with one out in the bottom of the first, Feeko launched a fly ball over the center-field fence for her fourth home run of the season and a 2-0 lead for the Lady Tigers. One inning later, she doubled home a two-out run for already her third and final run batted in of the game.

I’m sorry, I checked out of Pacers/Cavs with the Cavs up 117-110. What now?!

My flight from Newark to Houston on Friday is now from Philadelphia to Houston lol

Newark Liberty Airport continues to face massive disruptions, with over 800 flight cancellations and delays of up to five hours due to staffing issues and air traffic control system failures. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warns similar delays could spread nationwide https://t.co/rCkLVxu1iX

The Philadelphia Flyers will select 6th overall in the 2025 NHL Draft.
