We spoke with the United States Secret Service about what it takes to become an agent. Chris Gojcz, the assistant special agent in charge of the Secret Service, said they are looking for people with a calling for public service. FBI increases travel advisories after student disappears on spring break

The FBI has increased travel warnings for those heading abroad for spring break. This comes after a student disappeared in Punta Cana. We spoke with Kenneth Gray, a lecturer at the University of New Haven, about the increase in alerts from the FBI. "Two weeks ago, a student down in the Dominican Republic disappeared," Gray said. Officials said Sudiksha Konaki, a 20-year-old student at the University of Pittsburgh, went to the Dominican Republic for spring break on March 3.

Three people arrested after fight breaks out at middle school in Waterford

A fight broke out on Sunday in the stands of a basketball game in Waterford. Three people were arrested in the process. While the three people who were arrested are from Middletown, people we spoke with say both sides are to blame. Jeanette Vose from Waterford said adults need to set better examples for the kids. "It ruins it for the children. And it's a shame," Vose said. The Waterford fifth grade basketball team hosted Middletown at Clark Lane Middle School on Sunday.

"I said to my husband, 'It's a nice day; let's get out of here; let's go," said Philip. Harry's Place in Colchester has been going strong for 105 years and counting, and Friday was opening day. Debbie Lyman told us it was her first time going to the burger spot. "It's been a long winter. It's a beautiful day," said Lyman.

An NBC Connecticut viewer, who wished to remain anonymous, said they could not believe what they were seeing. "I was shocked to see they were going to drive and continue on the road, but that's what they did."They sent us photos of what appears to be a state-leased car covered in snow and ice at around noontime on Thursday. The viewer told us the car pulled out of a commuter lot on Route 305 in Windsor and headed to Interstate 91 South.
Tire-popping spikes found in roads and driveways in Coventry

An investigation is underway after tire spikes left people with popped tires in Coventry. Police want to know who's behind it. People we spoke to said they are concerned about their cars, safety and community. Eric Amende said it's concerning. "My mom takes that route to work pretty often," Amende said. "She's talked about stopping doing that for a while."That route is South Street in Coventry. It's an area where police say these metal spikes are being found.
