British actor and writer Stephen Fry rarely prefers to keep his marriage out of the public spotlight. However, he opened up this week while sitting down with fellow British celebrity Rylan Clark. Clark, who is also gay, welcomed Fry as a guest on his new podcast, Rylan: How to Be in Love. Fry, 67, married his partner, Elliott, 36, in 2015. They are thought to have met through a mutual friend in 2012.

As reported yesterday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the Navy re-name its ship, the USNS Harvey Milk. Milk was the first out-gay man in the United States to win an election for public office. He won a seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977. However, his time in the role was short-lived. He was gunned down, alongside the city’s mayor, George Moscone, in November 1978. As a younger man, Milk also served in the Navy.

While many corporations in the US have given Pride Month a muted welcome this year, the same cannot be said for some big brands around the world. Air Canada — the country’s national carrier — marked the occasion by organizing a special flight. It featured a crew entirely made up of members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. If you’re unfamiliar with that acronym, ‘2S’ means two-spirit, while ‘I’ represents intersex, and ‘A’ is asexual.

A video of Mormon missionaries knocking on a gay couple’s door has gone viral on TikTok and X. The video was posted to TikTok by user @lauraleeimages, who is based in Utah. A caption on the video reads “When the missionaries visit but the neighbors have your back.”The video comes from a doorbell camera. It shows the missionaries approaching the door and one of them knocking. After he does so, a neighbor kindly hollers at them, suggesting they’re wasting their time. “They’re lesbians.

Despite being produced to promote Oslo Pride in Norway, a newly released short film conveys a message that everyone can understand, regardless of their native language. The video illustrates why the rainbow flag conveys a powerful message to members of the LGBTQ+ community. It tells them they are welcome. The video was posted on Oslo Pride’s social media accounts last week. On Facebook, it’s already received 1.5 million views.
