The Glasgow rivals will go head-to-head three times in the regular season before a final match after the split. Rangers host the first derby contest at Ibrox on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Celtic Park is the venue for the second derby, in the traditional New Year slot on Saturday, January 3.

The date of the first Rangers vs Celtic match has been confirmed for the new season (Image: PA) The date of the first 2025/26 Scottish Premiership fixture between Rangers and Celtic has been confirmed. The SPFL released the full fixture list on Friday morning. Rangers will first host Celtic on Sunday, August 31 at Ibrox. The sides will meet again, this time at Parkhead, on Saturday, January 3, 2026. The third tie will be back at Ibrox on Saturday, February 28.
