Atlantic Public Media founder Jay Allison is afraid that his organization won’t be reimbursed for the $30,000 it has spent from its National Endowment for the Arts grant. Last week, he got notice that the already-awarded grant had been canceled. The Woods Hole-based nonprofit started WCAI and “The Moth Radio Hour.” It runs Sound School, a workshop to sharpen the storytelling skills of public radio practitioners. It produces “Milk Street,” my favorite cooking program.
