With Casement Park and the NI Football Fund very much on the news agenda, I was delighted to read that the Irish FA have saved up £16m to put towards a new National Training Centre. As a Belfast Telegraph columnist, I have been critical of the Irish FA on several fronts in recent weeks but on this occasion, I must congratulate football’s governing body for their diligent approach to this important topic.
