Kopeck De Mee, of course, was the big buzz horse ahead of the Cheltenham Festival, so much so he was sent off 5-2 favourite to win the Martin Pipe on his first start away from France. But it proved a tale of woe last month as he dived at the first and never looked happy. The Kopeck De Mee we saw at Aintree looked a different kettle of fish altogether.
