Good Friday! Any lingering showers will taper off after 7pm. It should be great cool weather for the Lookouts game with temps this evening falling through the 50s. Saturday will start chilly at 40 in Chattanooga. Many outside the city will be in the mid to upper 30s. Patchy frost in the higher elevations is possible tonight. Saturday afternoon will be mostly sunny and 64. Sunday will start cool in the mid to upper 30s. There are even a few FREEZE WATCHES for parts of the Blue Ridge Mtns to the east.

Good Thursday. We will have strong to severe storms moving through the Tennessee Valley through about 11pm eastern. The biggest threats will be heavy rain, gusty winds, lightning, and small hail. Tornadoes are not a concern with the weather tonight, but we will, of course, be watchful. After 11pm, storms will fade, and we will have partly cloudy skies overnight with mild lows in the mid to upper 40s. Friday, we will be cloudy, cooler, and breezy.

Good Wednesday. Tonight milder temps return with lows falling into the mid-40s. Thursday is a Storm Alert Weather Day. We will have spotty showers and storms on and off throughout the day. The high will reach 72. More widespread storms will move through Thursday night after 8pm and ending around 11pm. Any storms will have the chance to produce damaging winds and small hail. There is a very low-end risk of an isolated tornado as well.

Good Tuesday. Tonight will be clear and cold with temps falling into the low 30s Wednesday morning. Expect areas of frost and some falling below freezing. There is a "FREEZE WARNING" in effect for our north GA and NW AL counties for tomorrow morning. Tomorrow afternoon will be awesome with sunshine and the temperature rebounding to 70 for the high. Thursday will start warmer ahead of a cold front. We will be in the mid-40s in the morning.

Good Monday. The chilly weather is here. Tonight we will see skies clearing and temps dropping into the upper 30s and low 40s. Tuesday afternoon will be nice with a cool high of 59 under sunny skies. We will be a little breezy with north winds at 10-15 mph. Wednesday, many of our counties will be under a FREEZE WATCH in the morning with temps starting in the low to mid-30s. We can expect frost with areas of freezing temps.
