It was a narrow escape for a man who spent two harrowing days trapped in a Chandler well before being rescued by local fire crews. Chandler Fire Department reported the man voluntarily entered a drainage well near Arizona Avenue and Pecos Road and got stuck when the opening was "inadvertently covered." He was not discovered until he managed to call 911 on March 27, according to a FOX10 Phoenix article.
