    Our home lies under the flight path to the Missoula Airport which means we often hear planes passing overhead when we’re falling asleep. For the last year and a half planes flying over Palestinians in Gaza have had a heavier significance. While my family drifts off peacefully, unafraid for our safety, I can’t escape the fact that planes flying over Palestinian families in Gaza means at any moment they could be crushed under steel and concrete or shredded with shrapnel as they lie in their tents.
