Focus on the small things. My good friend, Olive, says you want to “surprise and delight” people. She often focuses on surprising and delighting people when someone enters the building BUT before they enter the event. Remember the last event you went to? What stood out to you? What did you tell someone about after the event? It likely was about who was there, the conversations you had, or *something else.* That something else likely didn’t cost a lot of money either.
