The Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America estimates that 99 percent of the shoes sold in the US are imported from another country, something that could be impacted by President Trump's latest round of tariffs. CARO, Mich. (WJRT) - Michigan has now officially decriminalized surrogacy contracts, becoming the last state in the country to do so. The change, which took effect this month, was part of a nine-bill package signed by the Governor last year. Nicole Horneber is already starting the process to become a surrogate. She currently has 4 kids of her own, but she says there was a time when it looked like that wouldn't be possible.

(WJRT) - With new tariffs increasing the price to bring metal into the country, you would think that local suppliers would be seeing better prices on the metal that's produced right here in the United States. David Rifkin with Rifkin Scrap Iron and Metal Co. says that's not the case. "Just in the past few days alone, we've seen an implosion in pricing. In particular, copper, LME, aluminum," he described.
