The American genius has always resided more in the hybrid arts, like popular songs and cartoons, than it did in forms that it borrowed from Europe.

Anyone teaching Intro CP/Institutions: what's going on in Israel now is a perfect ex of reform of "judicial review" into its opposite, "parliamentary supremacy," and a rare ex of substantial change in nature of separation of powers (and, most countries moved other way since WWII)
