In 2001, Colorado Avalanche captain Joe Sakic didn't lift the Cup, but handed it to veteran defenseman Ray Bourque, in his 22nd and final NHL season. In 2007, Anaheim Ducks captain Scott Niedermayer handed it to his brother, Rob Niedermayer.
