(WOWO) — A lawsuit was filed May 19 on behalf of a Wabash County girl who says she was sexually assaulted after being groomed over several years through the online game Roblox. The suit demands a jury trial and seeks damages for the girl, identified as Jane Doe in court papers. According to the complaint, Jane Doe started using Roblox when she was 9 years old. A man pretending to be a 16-year-old contacted her through the game.

    "Scam Alert" by Gerd Altmann, License OHIO, (WOWO) — A scam involving the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP in Ohio where three people now under indictment reportedly used card skimmers to bilk the Buckeye State out of more than half a million dollars in aid meant for those in need has been stopped. The Ohio Investigative Unit says that the three allegedly made large volume purchases at Sam’s and BJ’s Wholesale starting in 2024.

(WOWO) — A man accused of holding someone at knifepoint during a robbery last year in a downtown parking garage has entered a plea deal. 22-year-old Antonio Abul Husn, pleaded guilty but mentally ill to attempted robbery and resisting law enforcement. The July 2024 incident occurred in the parking garage at Clinton Street and Jefferson Boulevard. The victim was injured, and a police officer was hurt while chasing the suspect.
