The earthquake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 5.11am on Monday at the mainland’s Seismic Network stations, with its epicentre around 60 kilometres west of Sines. Through the online macro-seismic questionnaire, more than 19,000 testimonies referring to the effects of this earthquake have already been received at IPMA.
