Things tend to be balanced, but in sports betting, we really can't be balanced because we lose on the juice. So a 1-1 day, like I had yesterday, isn't terrible, but it isn't ideal either.

Reds vs. Braves, 7:15 ETSports betting can be quite a challenge not only day-to-day but monthly, yearly, and constantly. When you first get into sports betting you kind of enjoy the thrill of the challenge. Trying to figure something out, winning money, or even avoiding losses. What you don't really learn is how to navigate slumps or prolong winning streaks. The mental challenge is often harder than just picking a winner or loser.

Blue Jays vs. Angels, 9:38 ETAnother 1-1 day didn't give us much to be excited about but we were able to get at least on rung on the strikeout ladder. I continue to be better at player props this season than I've been at sides and totals. Eventually I'll get on a complete roll with those and everything will be humming, but my patience is wearing a bit thin. I've done better with sides than totals, so maybe I need to stick to sides and player props.

Phillies vs. Rays, 7:05 ETBefore the season started, you might have been able to convince me that tonight's matchup might be a World Series preview. I would've said it was unlikely, but still at least possible that both of these teams could make some noise and find their way into postseason glory. Now, you probably could convince me that neither team will make the playoffs. I'd probably tell you it is unlikely but still possible.

Rangers vs. Red Sox, 6:45 ETWe ended up hitting our first wash out of the season. I've had one before, but it was before the play was published so I won't count that. The game takes place today, and has the same pitchers, so if you want to bet it, go for it. I feel the same way about the game as I did yesterday. Today, we have a new game, this time between the Rangers and Red Sox that I want to lock something in on.
