After serving as a pastor for 20 years in Redlands, California, Dr. Rick Langer came to Biola in 2005 to serve as a professor in the Department of Biblical Studies and in Talbot School of Theology and as the director of the Office for the Integration of Faith and Learning. From 2005 to 2024, Langer helped to cultivate a culture of Christian teaching and scholarship among university faculty and taught a variety of courses in biblical and theological integration.
