A24, the production and distribution company behind the Oscar winning film Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), is currently in negotiations to acquire the remake rights to Jean-Claude Van Damme’s 1988 martial arts classic Bloodsport. Back in 2011, director Phillip Noyce (Dead Calm) was attached to lead a reimagining of the classic, working from a script by The Karate Kid creator Robert Mark Kamen.
