Athy is to get new dog waste stations in an effort to combat the dog foul problem on the streets of the town. A meeting took place between local groups, state agencies and councillors on 12 March where it was agreed to purchase a number of dog waste stations in the coming weeks to be erected along walking routes. Along with the waste stations, Athy Tidy Towns Committee have agreed to launch a campaign to raise awareness around the issue.

RT @donaldtusk: We still miss you😉

One of my first articles for @euronews was an interview with colourist @marinamaral2 about her crucial work bringing life to b+w Auschwitz prisoner photos. Today, on Holocaust Memorial Day, it’s more important than ever to remember #neveragain 👇 https://t.co/wsJe2Obyum
