At eighty years old, you’d have to think he believed the ship of him being anything more than a shepherd had sailed. That’s when he found himself at the burning bush. And that moment changed everything. This is a good place to start. Moses started the most important work of his life at the age of 80.

David Weiss lives in Ankeny. For much of the first two months of this year my siblings and I cleared the home of my mother, who died just before Christmas. It was a monumental task, as she was well past her 103rd birthday. Mom was very sentimental, and held onto things that she believed defined her life and represented the people she loved.
