You slice. Even if you call it a “push cut,” it’s not optimal. The goal: Iron shots that fly off the clubface in the exact direction you want the ball to go. What I’ve noticed over the years is that most struggling iron players are overly concerned with body turn. Body turn is important but not when it comes at the expense of getting your hands and arms involved. Ignoring these body parts almost always results in holding on too long after impact.

FORMER non-league star Kynan Isaac called on the FA to smash Lucas Paqueta with a 40-YEAR ban for alleged spot-fixing. Isaac was banned for ten years in October 2022 after being found guilty by football’s ruling body of deliberately getting himself booked in an FA Cup tie. It was claimed full-back Isaac’s  caution for Stratford Town in a 5-1 loss to Shrewsbury in November 2021 was part of a betting scheme with pals.

The sleepy rural idyll in the south of France which was home to a notorious former Essex doctor who was the prime suspect in the murder of his wife 40-years-ago can be revealed today by MailOnline. Dr Robert Jones who is believed to have been married five times died on March 7 this year aged 80 in the village of Montblanc where he and his French partner ran a guest house and a vineyard.
