After trading baskets all game, the Lancers needed one more to force overtime. But the last time didn’t fall and Depew celebrated a 54-52 win and a Section VI Class A2 championship Sunday at Buffalo State. Lew-Port’s sectional championship dreams were dashed, the season was finished and an incredible journey came to an end.
