1. Introduction Diabetes can impair the reproductive system, leading to sexual dysfunction and male infertility [1]. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) has been shown to be associated with erectile dysfunction and abnormal semen production, both of which contribute to the development of male infertility [2]. Research, such as that conducted by Yannasithinon et al. [3], has demonstrated shrinkage of the seminal vesicles (SVs) and decreased secretion of SV fluid in type 2 diabetic mice.
