Star Trek: The Original Series didn't focus much on the characters' personal lives. At the time, the show was about the science fiction and the drama taking place in space. People wanted to see the new aliens and planets the Enterprise visited, and most were okay with not knowing Dr. McCoy's [DeForest Kelley] ex-wife's name or other little details about the characters. But some of the actors themselves wanted more for their characters.

Star Trek: The Cruise VIII is now underway with fans celebrating the 30th anniversary of Star Trek: Voyager. Celebrities will include most of the Voyager cast, and based on a report from Trekmovie, the first day is off to a grand start. As always, the celebrity guests for next year's cruise have already been posted on the Star Trek: The Cruise website and it's no wonder there are a lot of Star Trek actors and surprise guests aboard.

In Star Trek: Voyager, the ship and crew spent over seven years in the Delta Quadrant trying to find their way back home. During that time, they encountered aliens, had battle after battle, and went through some dark times. Voyager was consistently damaged during some of those battles, but it didn't stay that way. Over the course of seven seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, we didn't learn as much about Ensign Harry Kim [Garrett Wang] as we would have liked to. Understandably, it was an ensemble show, and the producers couldn't delve too deeply into every character. We do know that he was a "miracle baby" as his parents tried for years to have children before he was born. He played the clarinet, loved volleyball, was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Starfleet Academy, and had a girlfriend named Libby.

Star Trek: Prodigy debuted its second season on Netflix in July 2024. Since that time, fans have been eagerly awaiting news on a possible season three renewal. Though the series ended on a note that could possibly wrap up the storylines, there is still plenty of room for more adventures, which is why fans are still asking for Prodigy to be saved.
