TROG 21.07 SOCRATES-HCC is a phase II, prospective, randomised, parallel and open-label, multi-institutional superiority trial comparing SABR to other current standard of care therapies for patients with newly diagnosed early stage (BCLC 0/A), solitary ≤ 8 cm nodule HCC, ineligible for surgical resection or transplantation. The trial schema is represented in Fig. 1.
