    Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche (CDM) has launched the first unit in its RJ 155 series, christened RJ. At 46.9 metres, she is the yard's largest project to date. RJ is an evolution of the owner's former RJ 130, launched in 2021 as RJ (now Nuri). Conceived as a "pure-bred" explorer, the build comes complete with a steel hull, "top-tier equipment" and range of over 5,000 nautical miles.

    Huisfit, the refit arm of Dutch yard Royal Huisman, has announced Anders Pehrson as the new commercial director with effect on 1 June 2025. The appointment aims to strengthen Huisfit and "broaden its clientele", based on Pehrson's long experience with refit as a captain and from a shipyard perspective. Originally from Sweden, Pehrson has been working on yachts since the mid 90s, mainly as a captain on motor yachts up to 60 metres.

    The first yacht from fledgling builder Procat Yachts has been launched, known as the Procat 85. The first in a new range of seaworthy and "eco-friendly" vessels, the 26-metre model has an impressive volume of 325GT – a ratio that the Turkish yard calls a "world-first" in the catamaran class. Following successful sea trials, the Procat 85 will be delivered to her owner and will soon set sail for the Mediterranean to enjoy her first summer season.
