Since 2014, MTSU has been a member of CUSA, one of the nation’s best athletic conferences for student-athlete academic performance.

By: Ella CobbI started college almost four years ago. It was Fall 2021. I considered my options when I was deciding what to do about my living situations. I knew I was not ready to move out for multiple reasons. It did not feel right to move out during the pandemic. Life was different. It did not seem worth it to me. I also knew that moving out was not the best decision for me financially. I grew up in a small town about 40 minutes from Murfreesboro. I knew a lot of people that were commuters.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The second MTSU Jazz Artist Series concert is set for Feb. 6 on campus featuring vocalist Sandra Dudley, who will perform with members of MTSU Combo 1. The concert will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in the Hinton Music Hall of the Wright Music Building at 1439 Faulkinberry Drive. A parking map is available at https://bit.ly/MTSUParking.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee State University recently recognized 220 faculty and staff for their 4,480 combined years of service to students and the campus community. Honorees recently gathered for a special luncheon and reception in early December in the Student Union Ballroom, where the employees were recognized in five-year increments, beginning with their 10th anniversaries.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — ’Tis the season for Middle Tennessee State University’s 24-hour marathon of the 2024 “Joys of the Season” arts showcase on True Blue TV. The program will air repeatedly beginning at noon Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, until noon Christmas Day, Dec. 25. This year will feature the 2024 show airing the first half of each hour, with the second half alternating between the 2023 and 2022 versions.
