By Deanna Maria R. When an immigrant wants to become an US citizen, he or she is required to take a test, including matters of civics. Most of us Americans who were born in the US, myself included, would fail it miserably I’m sorry to say. However, I’m not running for a spot in congress neither. So, why should someone who wants to hold office or rep the US in our congress or senate or even as president, not be required to know more than someone wanting to be a US citizen?

By Deanna Maria R. All I want for Christmas is a voice recorder, on loop. However, ‘you can wish in one hand and’, well you know how the saying goes. What am I rambling on about you may ask. Well having to sound (per se) like a parrot with a crayon. Twitter needs a voice recorder added that can be used in the general chat posts. So instead of repeating myself to the wall that is MAGA, and my hands cramping up, I’ll just record it. AND as the saying goes ‘play it again, Sam’.

By Deanna Maria R. I see some people panicking and some gloating, over the Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity. To some extent, all our presidents have had some form of immunity. At the very least they could not be charged until after they were no longer president. Even then, if presidents were thought to have done something immoral, unethical, or criminal, they were impeached, pushed to resign and then, basically nothing more.

Reason Number 1: Voting RightsApproximately 48 states in the US do not allow felons to vote during incarceration or while on parole under the supervision of a probation officer. Approximately, 4.4 million citizens are not allowed to vote due to felony convictions.
