With the death of Pope Francis on April 21 and his funeral this past weekend, the pontiff’s autobiography, “Hope,” returned to the original non-fiction list at No. 2. It was the first memoir ever published by a sitting pope when it came out in January.

A new author cracked the Canadian non-fiction bestsellers list this week, one who’s normally known for his day job as lead singer of Hamilton rock band the Arkells. Max Kerman‘s “Try Hard: Creative Work in Progress,” at No. 10 on the list, is described as part memoir, part self-help book.
