SquashAnahat Singh and Veer Chotrani are just a win away from qualifying for their first-ever PSA World C'ships. Indian youngsters Anahat Singh and Veer Chotrani continued their excellent run at the PSA World Squash Championships Asian Qualifier to reach their respective finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday. Anahat maintained her dominating display at the tournament and registered yet another 11-2, 11-7, 11-6 straight games win against Helen Tang of Hong Kong in jut 21 minutes.

India concluded their campaign at the U18 Asian Athletics Championships on a high, adding four medals on the final day, including a historic gold in the men's Javelin event in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Friday. Himanshu Jakhar scripted history by winning India's first-ever gold medal in the Javelin category of the Asian U18 Championships. He faced little competition from the rest of the field.

Grandmaster (GM) Vaishali Rameshbabu broke the streak of draws to register her first win of the tournament in the fifth round of the 2024-25 FIDE Women's Grand Prix series in Pune on Friday. Indian tennis ace Rohan Bopanna and his American partner Ben Shelton exited the 2025 Monte-Carlo Masters in the quarterfinals on Friday in Monaco, France. The Indo-American duo failed to carry forward their winning momentum, falling in a tight three-setter (2-6, 6-4, 7-10) against home favourite Romain Arneodo and his French partner Manuel Guinard.
