KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — The Kershaw County Coroner's Office has identified the victim in a car crash that occurred early Friday morning. Coroner David West identified the victim as 28-year-old Patrick Evans of the McBee area. Authorities say the accident occurred on Doc Humphries Road around 2:20 a.m.Evans was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to authorities. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

(WACH) — An 11-year-old is dead after a man entered a home and opened fire, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office. 80-year-old Reuben Leonard has been charged with murder. Coroner Robbie Baker identified the victim as 11-year-old Ashley McFarland. Coroner Baker also identified 76-year-old Felicia Leonard as the victim in the incident. Authorities say around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies received reports of a shooting at 1130 Floyd Drive.
