Denise Gough (Andor), Holliday Grainger (Merlin), Ambika Mod (One Day) and Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas) star in the adaptation of Playdate, the novel by Alex Dahl, who also executive produces. Rounding out the cast are Bronagh Waugh (Death in Paradise), and Michael Workeye (My Lady Jane). In the thriller series, Elisa’s 9-year-old daughter Lucia asks to have a sleepover with Josie, a girl she’s only just met. Elisa has her reservations, until Josie’s mum Rebecca charms her out of any hesitation.
