TEESWATER – In 2024, South Bruce Municipal Council cost ratepayers a total of $107,345.15 between honorariums, meeting expenses, and per diems. In a report presented to council during its March 25 meeting, Director of Finance Kendra Reinhart reported that Mayor Mark Goetz received an honorarium of $19,567 while each of the remaining members of council received $13,084. Each member also received a $278.86 “tech pay” to cover the cost of participating in meetings.

WALKERTON – Bruce County staff will be fast-tracking work with a developer in Brockton looking to build affordable housing. At county council’s direction, staff will be engaging member municipalities to review and update Community Improvement Plans (CIP) to enable Tax Increment Equivalent Funding (TIEF) programs, but working with the developer on affordable units in a Walkerton-area development prior to the official implementation of such a program.

Dear @PayPal or @AskPayPal - please don't ask me to use a physical address for my billing address because my billing address is a PO Box. Regardless of what some urbanites (like your staff, apparently) believe, there are places where you just have a PO Box for mail.
