“No one is above the law,” Democrats insist. Democrats then demand to be exempt from the consequences of their law-breaking. Hypocrisy is not a strong enough word; these people are corrupt and need to face the music. Democrats tried to storm an ICE facility in New Jersey, and the Mayor of Newark was arrested for trespassing…because he was. The left immediately went into meltdown, calling fighting with ICE agents “protesting,” because they are corrupt, soulless creatures who hate the country.

I’m a cynical person, always have been (though I’ve gotten a little less so since having kids), which is why I’m a natural skeptic of anything any politician says to me. Trust, but verify, as President Ronald Reagan's famous mantra goes. My experience has shown me that the more someone insists they are telling you the truth, the higher the probability is that they’re lying to you.

The Trump administration has initiated a government spending program I can get behind: paying illegal aliens a few bucks to get out of the country. I like the idea so much that I propose expanding it to include liberals, too! The program offers illegal aliens a commercial airline ticket to wherever they’re from, provided they voluntarily register for it through the CPB app.

Bernie’s militant wing writes, “Trump’s war on our public media went nuclear as he signed a terrifying Executive Order demanding the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) ‘cease federal funding for NPR and PBS.’”Are you terrified at the prospect of a massive corporation with huge revenues that pays its leaders a fortune, losing a portion of its budget? I doubt it. I’m terrified these fascists will continue to suck our cash.

There are just some people who can’t walk away from abuse. While most people, most women, in a relationship will hit the bricks if the man they’re seeing even seems like he’d raise his hand to her – and either men have it in them or they don’t, no one switches sides willy nilly or comes to this point late in life – others take abuse and return, time after time. Apparently, the thought of “He’s really sorry and won’t do it again” sticks around in the brain as long as Joe Biden has these days.
