Arkansas had its chances on Saturday night in a nationally televised tussle with then-No. 3 Alabama, but ultimately couldn’t prevail in a 85-81 defeat. A win would’ve been the first over the Crimson Tide since 2021, as Nate Oats’ squad has now won five straight over the Razorbacks. A couple of weeks ago, with the Razorbacks mired in a losing streak and everyone in the collegiate hoops media taking shots at John Calipari from every angle, he wrote a quasi hit piece on the of Hall of Fame coach. Its used quotes from anonymous fellow major college coaches who deemed Calipari “archaic,” saying that the game had passed him by.
