There would be no collapse on Saturday. Kentucky got outstanding pitching out of the bullpen from Ethan Walker and pulled away from USC Upstate in the bottom of the eighth to win 7-3 and stay alive at the Clemson Regional. Facing elimination, the Wildcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning, nudged back ahead in the sixth, and then added their insurance with a 3-run eighth. On Friday, Kentucky lost on a walk-off sac-fly.

Earlier this week, the 24-year-old attended his first-ever NHL game when the Carolina Hurricanes took on the Florida Panthers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
