    Derrah Getter's First Warning ForecastThis evening some spots will see hazy conditions but most of the Canadian wildfire smoke clears overnight. Lows will be in the upper 50s and low 60s. Much brighter and drier conditions take shape this week. Highs Tuesday jump up to the low to mid 80s. There will be plenty of sunshine all day long. By the end of the week highs will hover near 90 degrees. Rain chances return as well.

    Derrah Getter's First Warning ForecastThis evening wildfire smoke aloft leads to hazy conditions. We're tracking one last round of storms overnight. Lows will be in the upper 50s. The hazy conditions stick around early Monday morning. We'll see clearing mid-week. High temperatures climb into the upper 80s near 90 degrees. Isolated storm chances return over the upcoming weekend. Temperatures will remain above normal.

    Several reports of pea size to penny size hail were reported across the area with some strong storms that moved through Saturday afternoon and evening.     Derrah Getter's First Warning ForecastThis evening, the isolated storm chances dwindle down. Dry conditions take shape overnight. Lows will be in the upper 50s and low 60s. Bright sunshine returns Sunday morning. Highs will be in the mid 70s. A few clouds move in during the afternoon and evening. Isolated showers and storms will be possible late Sunday and early Monday, mainly for portions of the Outer Banks. We turn brighter mid-week but the heat cranks up.

    Derrah Getter's First Warning ForecastThis evening's storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, hail and isolated tornadoes. The rain moves out before midnight. Saturday starts out bright but more clouds fill in mid to late morning. Showers and storms bubble up during the afternoon. Our main concerns with the stronger storms will be gusty wind and hail. By nightfall most locations will be dry.
